Last weekend, downtown Nagoya was transformed by vibrant Vietnamese cultural colors as the Vietnam Festival in Aichi 2025 officially took place, attracting tens of thousands of attendees. The event was held at the renowned Edion Hisaya Park, where the festival atmosphere was filled with music, traditional arts, and beloved specialties cherished by overseas Vietnamese and Japanese guests.

Vietnamese flavors burst in the heart of Nagoya

Standing out among hundreds of booths, Banh Mi Xin Chao offered fresh, crispy banh mi filled with traditional Vietnamese ingredients. Nearly 5,000 banh mi sandwiches were sold in just two days—an impressive number that proves the overwhelming love Nagoya customers have for banh mi and Vietnamese cuisine. Images of long lines of people patiently waiting for their sandwiches, despite the chilly weather, brought vibrant energy to the festival and inspired the entire Banh Mi Xin Chao team.

Meaningful gifts

More than just impressive sales, Banh Mi Xin Chao also demonstrated its commitment to the community by partnering with DCOM to distribute 600 free banh mi vouchers to guests using DCOM services at the event. This was not only a token of appreciation but also an activity to connect and share with the Vietnamese community living, studying, and working in Nagoya.
