Spring is just around the corner, and our Xin Chào Go Fest #49 journey stops at a very important event for the Vietnamese community in Kansai: the Vietnam Tet Festival 2026 in Osaka. It is a chance for Vietnamese people living far from home to "come home" for Tet, right here in Japan.
About the event
Organized by the Japan Vietnam Trade Association (JVTA), this year's festival takes the theme "Việt Nam Rạng ngời" (radiant Vietnam), celebrating our national identity and bringing together more than 600,000 Vietnamese people living in Japan.

Time:
- Saturday, January 24, 2026: 09:00 to 20:00.
- Sunday, January 25, 2026: 09:00 to 17:00.
The festival takes place over two days just before Tet at the familiar Rinku Ice Park (near Kansai Airport, Osaka). Visitors can enjoy traditional folk arts such as hát xoan, chèo and cải lương, an áo dài exhibition and the "Tet Viet Talent" competition.
An invitation from Bánh Mì Xin Chào
In the cold Osaka winter, what could be better than a hot, crispy Bánh Mì Xin Chào in your hands? We bring the taste of "Taste Banh Mi, Taste Vietnam" to share the longing for home with you. Visit our booth at Rinku Ice Park to recharge and enjoy the radiant spirit of spring!
