Returning to where it all began
In 2016, Banh Mi Xin Chào (BMXC) opened its very first store in the bustling city of Tokyo. Now, the Xin Chào Go Fest #52 campaign proudly brings us to the most anticipated cultural event of the year: Vietnam Festival 2026 in Tokyo.
Event Details:
- When: May 30 (Sat) – May 31 (Sun), 2026, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- Where: Yoyogi Park Event Area, Tokyo.

Taste banh mi, Taste Vietnam
At our booth, we are serving up our signature crispy Banh Mi, filled with rich pate, savory meats, and fresh herbs. Our slogan, "Taste Banh Mi, Taste Vietnam," reflects our core belief: just like the Vietnamese people—simple on the outside but rich and warmly hospitable on the inside—our sandwiches are a true reflection of Vietnam's soul.
Immersive cultural highlights
Designed as an "Immersive Festival" (没入型フェス), this year's event introduces incredible cultural and entertainment features:
- Authentic Water Puppets: For the first time, experience a traditional 1,000-year-old Vietnamese Water Puppet show performed live in an outdoor setting. Watch as wooden puppets come to life on the water's surface, telling tales of rural Vietnamese life.
- Live Concerts: Feel the energy of Vietnam's modern music scene with live performances by top V-Pop stars ERIK and Ngô Lan Hương.
Join us at Yoyogi Park, grab a delicious Banh Mi, and immerse yourself in the vibrant Vietnamese culture!
