This May, our Xin Chào Go Fest #40 journey carries a very special meaning, as Bánh Mì Xin Chào is honored to take part in the largest cultural and historical event of the Vietnamese community in Japan: the Heart of Vietnam Festival, "50 years beating as one".
About the Heart of Vietnam Festival
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification, the event takes place on May 3 and 4, 2025 at Hanazono Central Park in Higashiosaka, Osaka Prefecture. It is a meaningful occasion for Vietnamese people living abroad to look back on the heroic history of our nation, stand together and share their love for the homeland. The festival expects around 150,000 visitors, including the Vietnamese community, local residents and friends from around the world.
The ten thousand national flags campaign
The most moving highlight of the program is a space glowing red with the national flag. The organizers have prepared 10,000 red flags with a yellow star to give away free to visitors. Visitors can also capture proud moments on the red carpet along a 300 meter flag. Tens of thousands of flags waving over the Hanazono baseball field will surely be an unforgettable sight.
Spectacular live music and culture
The stage will bring together leading Vietnamese artists such as Tung Duong, Isaac and Nguyen Duyen Quynh, along with Vietnamese and international art groups. Heroic songs, modern hits and performances reflecting the culture of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups will create an unforgettable, emotional atmosphere.
